HAPPY 150th BIRTHDAY CANADA!

As proud patrons of this great country we call home, we celebrated Canada’s 150th birthday in true Canadian fashion – strongly, proudly and with a lot of RED and WHITE!

And of course, with shoe selections that followed suit 😉 SKECHERS has some ready to rock red and white styles that we know you’ll love to wear for the rest of the year in support of the country we all call home.

This past weekend we fired up our BBQs, gathered our s’mores sticks and lit up the sky with fireworks to celebrate this MILESTONE birthday for the northern nation that knows it was responsible for making hockey a sport and that idolizes the mastermind genius who came up with the deliciousness that is poutine. We drank our Tim Hortons, ate our Timbits and made sure that we took full advantage of our women’s SKECHERS collections that kept us comfy and patriotic all weekend long. We stepped into one of our favourite women’s sport Empire – Inside Look style for our long walks, relaxed in our SKECHERstreet Hi-Lite sneakers and made sure to catch some rays with our trusty heritage D’Lites – With It shoe by our side.

And for the men/boys – we had them covered too! Our men stayed active in their Men’s Track – Bucolo sneakers and the boys lit up the night (almost as bright as those sparklers!) in their forever favourite Boys Energy Lights style.

Here are some fun facts about Canada that you can mull over while you recover from this weekend’s rowdy festivities. Some of them were news to us!
